How to Block or Allow Pop-Ups on Microsoft Edge

Pop-ups can be both useful and annoying. Some websites use them for important notifications or sign-ins, while others flood your screen with ads. For Windows and Mac (Desktop)

1. Open Microsoft Edge

2. Go to Settings

3. Navigate to Cookies and Site Permissions

On the left sidebar, click on “Cookies and site permissions.”

4. Find the Pop-Ups and Redirects Section

Scroll down and look for “Pop-ups and redirects.” Click it.

5. Block or Allow Pop-Ups

  • To block pop-ups: Make sure the switch next to “Block (recommended)” is turned on.
